Is a hospital admission in your future?
Whether you’re being admitted to welcome a new little one, undergoing a planned surgical procedure or even being treated for Covid-19, your doctor may ask if you have “advance directives” in your medical file.
These documents appoint another person (and as many alternates as you wish) to make care decisions and speak on your behalf if needed. They may also indicate your specific treatment preferences for certain situations.
We regularly help clients create health care directives-such as a Health Care Power of Attorney or a Living Will-as part and parcel of the estate planning process.
We’re here to help you proactively think through these choices.
